    Abstract:

With the great progress of molecular biology, the research of salt tolerance has developed into many domains in high plants, such as gene cloning, analysis of gene structure and feature of gene expression, etc. Nowadays, it has become a hot point to clone the salt regulated Genes. Many salt regulated gene(s) from high plants were cloned in the last decade, based on the identification, analysis and expression of the related and the identification of these genes has given a better understanding of the complexity of the salt tolerance in higher plants. The notable success of this point is the identification of promoter elements and transcription factors that control the expression of protective proteins, signal transduction, osmoregulation materials and late embryogensis abundant proteins etc.
