豆类作物包括大豆、花生及食用豆类等,种类繁多,其地位仅次于禾谷类作物。豆类作物种皮色因花色素苷表达量的不同导致颜色各异。这种差异既是品种鉴别及产权保护的重要依据,也满足了生产及市场的多样化需求。目前豆类作物对种皮色的研究主要集中在大豆、花生等油料作物,而食用豆类研究较少。本文从豆类作物种皮色的划分、品质的差异及环境因子对种皮色的影响、遗传规律及基因定位、克隆等方面进行了梳理与总结,分析了相关研究的现状和存在的不足,提出了充分应用基因组学、转录组学和蛋白质组学等现代分子生物学方法研究豆类种皮色表达机制的研究思路,以期为豆类作物育种及相关分子生物学研究提供参考。
Legumes, including soybean (Glycine max), peanut (Arachis hypogaea) and various pulses crops, play important roles in agriculture system because of their ability in nitrogen fixation. These crops also serve as vital sources of plant-based protein. Seed coat color represents rich variations and is caused by the expression of anthocyanin. This trait serves as an index for variety identification in intellectual property protection and provides more selection for production and marketing. Investigating the genetics and mechanism of seed color can accelerate the breeding process to meet diverse demands. However, up to now, these kinds of study are fairly few, especially in pulses crops, due to the lack of attention in the past decades. Here we summarized the classification of seed coat color in legumes, differences in quality, the environmental factors such as light, temperature and water that affect the seed coat colors, and the inheritance of this trait in different species. We also reviewed the related studies on gene mapping and gene cloning and analyzed the current situation and existing deficiencies of relevant research. We further proposed the research plan through applying modern biotechnologies and methodologies such as genomics, transcriptomics, and proteomics to study the expression mechanism of the seed coat color of legumes. We expect to provide valuable information for breeding and molecular biology on legume crops.
