    Abstract:

The genetic diversity of maize landraces in Shanxi was studied based on SSR markers and bulk samples. Totally 368 alleles in 38 OPVs were detected with an average of 7.48 ranged from 2 to 14 per locus. PIC among the 38 varieties ranged from 0.24 to 0.89。Also 185 rare alleles and 21 unique alleles were identified. The 38 landraces were clustered into 4 groups. It suggested that genetic diversity of maize landraces in Shanxi are very rich and they contains many own alleles that means they have some special characterization. The maize landraces in Shanxi may play great role in broadening the genetic base of germplasm in maize.
