The propagating and regeneration is one of important tasks in conserving tobacco germplasm of Mid-term genebank. In order to keep the complete heredity, the hereditary drift, genetic shift and mechanical mix were discussed based on tobacco hereditary property. The techniques and experiences of regeneration for tobacco germplasm were summarized. Some ideas and constructive suggestions on study for tobacco germplasm were also discussed in the future.
